Eric C. Cohen

Senior Associate

Mr. Cohen represents businesses and individual clients in complex commercial litigations and regulatory, administrative and criminal investigations in both state and federal courts throughout the nation. As a Senior Associate with the firm, Mr. Cohen has been actively involved in investigating and litigating cases brought under the False Claims Act alleging frauds against the government.

Mr. Cohen joined the firm in 2023 after spending six years as a Deputy Attorney General in the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office of Public Integrity & Accountability. In that role Mr. Cohen supervised investigations and prosecuted public corruption cases and other crimes that violated the public trust including thefts from public programs, election frauds, and bribery cases.

Prior to that role, Mr. Cohen was an attorney at an international law firm representing clients in federal and state civil and criminal litigations, regulatory investigations, and internal corporate investigations involving various allegations of frauds, including claims arising under the Bank Secrecy Act, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and the False Claims Act.

Mr. Cohen served as an Alexander Fellow Law Clerk to the Honorable William G. Bassler of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
